Stuffed
Today I spent the day exactly how I wanted, alone with my dog and football....Reno 911 had a marathon too...they are so silly. As I ate myself into an uncomfortable state, I thought about us filling up on other things in life besides food...like love, acts of kindness, helping others. Those things sustain me in the seasons of seeming drought in my life, when there's no one around, I can draw from words of encouragement, endearment, love that have been spoken to me, about me or into my life. That is what I am most thankful for...being stuffed to capacity from kind words, kind deeds and life spoken into me, that keep me going and fuel my ability to keep doing what I am doing. But it isn't just me, every one needs it too and with that, I think about doing unto others what I want done to me...so I try not to wait on people opening their mouth to bless me first, but rather bless others first. You never know how you may impact the life of another person. That facts are that we need those words, deeds and encouragement to keep going, it helps us when time is tough and money is tight. So, instead of stuffing on things that will eventually be released from our bodies, lets stuff each other to the fullest on things we can draw from in times of need. Because at some point, we all need encouragement, love and kind words. Make a difference with your speech.
