Unpopular Paths

Many times in life we are presented with options. Not unfamiliar, but the choices most people make may be more so unfamiliar. Human tendency is to choose what's best for me and not look at the horizon of things. What's best for the people involved, what does God say? There have been many times where I didn't want to hear what was best, because I was selfish and simply wanted what I wanted! It was in those times where my choices led to the greatest destruction! And it wasn't that God wanted me to suffer, just like he didn't want his chosen people, the Israelites to suffer, but because of their disobedience they wandered in the wilderness longer than they had to!

It has been because of the times of wandering in the wilderness, unsanctioned by God, that has brought me to the place of selflessness and humility. I ask for the will of God, which lots of times is unpopular. And then after asking for it, have to do whatever he says to do. Believe me, it is tough, but the end reward of helping people and doing the will of God is worth more than what satisfaction from self-gratification lasts!

Take the unpopular road, tell a friend a loved one the right thing instead of what best suits your needs!

Passion

Life with out passion isn't life at all. Zeal, determination, hard-fast, heart pumping adrenaline balances out the race we run in life. Are you full of passion to complete your purpose in life? I certainly have be reinvigorated to be the best, do the best that is possible. Mediocrity just doesn't cut it anymore. Days run into weeks, run into months and the next thing you know life has passed you by! Don't let time rule you! Every ounce of every day should be productive, rest is even productive! But make the most out of everyday, every minute you get to spend with loved ones. Have no regrets, don't fear, live your life!

Let's Go!

Can you imagine the wonderful feeling the Israelites had when they finally entered into the promised land? Relief, fulfillment, comfort, joy to say the least. Now is the time where you have the option to come out of the wilderness and enter into the promised land, but there's a catch, it's called Obedience. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to die to our own desires, needs, emotions and put first the will of God. But it is essential. Are you doing what God said? Are you complaining and murmuring about your present situation? Are you consistently praying and worshipping God for who He is and not what he can do for you? Just some questions to consider.

Seems like we always want God to move in our lives but we don't want to have to completely obey or keep his commandments. Is it hard? Yes, but that is why we have to die to our fleshly emotions and what we think is best. What we think can get us into a lot of trouble. Our minds, especially true for analytical people, can rationalize everything we do or want to do. But we must refrain from thinking and dissecting everything in our own minds and surrender to what the will of God is. How? We consciously pray out for revelation, wisdom and the will of God to operate in our lives.

I am ready to move into the promised land, are you? Let's go in this season and not wander in the back 40 any longer! LET's GO!
